I read World War Z: An Oral History Of The Zombie War, Max Brooks’ New York Times Best Selling follow-up to The Zombie Survival Guide, back when it first came out and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even for non-zombie fanatics, it’s an entertaining read; I highly recommend it.
The sequel to 2006’s Dead Rising, in which players assume the role of freelance photojournalist Frank West as he investigates a zombie infestation in an American shopping mall, is scheduled to hit stores September 28th.
Looks like the Servbot head makes a return in the sequel...
Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, now available as an exclusive download for Xbox 360, takes place three years prior to the events of the sequel, introducing the protagonists and Las Vegas-esque setting of the soon-to-be-released second installment.
A new web series entitled Zombie Roadkill is shambling its way to FEARnet.com later this year.
The six-part, horror-comedy series stars Thomas Haden Church (Spiderman 3, Sideways) as a no-nonsense park ranger and David Dorfman (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, 2003) as an unsuspecting college kid who must team up to escape a horde of ravenous, flesh-eating, woodland animals brought back from the dead by a cursed stretch of highway!
It’s official, AMC’s new Zombie television series based on the hit comic book series, The Walking Dead, will premiere Halloween night, Sunday, October 31st at 10 p.m. ET with an extra long, 90-minute presentation.
